Hualapai Moving Forward is a transformational program bundle of more than 30 projects to enhance the quality of life for all Hualapai and preserve the tribe’s heritage for future generations. The program includes projects for transportation, water, community recreation, tribal facilities, as well as capacity building/planning, operations, and maintenance.

Ground officially broken on Hualapai Veterans Park

Verterans Park Ground Breaking 2

A groundbreaking celebration was held for the new Veterans Park in Peach Springs in late May. The park will honor nearly 300 tribal members who served in wars dating back to before World War I.

The park’s centerpiece will be a lighted steel cone sculpture etched with English and Hualapai words for bravery. The park, which is part of the Hualapai Moving Forward program, is scheduled to open by Veterans Day on November 11, 2025.
